True Blue Forever is a satisfying end to Joyce Scarbrough's True Blue Trilogy. It's 1980 - their senior year of high school! Mickey and Wade have come to acceptable terms with each other and Jeana. Even Billy Joe finds a girl who can put up with him. Only days after life begins to be perfect for the foursome, tragedy strikes. Jeana's world is flipped upside down and she starts having to make the hardest decisions of her life. Will she make the right choice? Can Billy Joe keep the one girl who has put up with him better than Jeana? Find out in this book.

Opinion:

After reading this book, I found myself wanting to go back and reread the trilogy just so I could sit down and spend a little more time with the author's characters. Through heartbreaking tragedy and a very satisfying end, Mrs. Scarbrough ends her series like no other. This trilogy is definitely my new favorite. Although I would caution readers under 12 years old, I would encourage any high schooler to read this book and reread it because of its depth and reality. The book brings to focus the real meaning of true blue love.
