Lacey has a rough life. Her grandmother hates her, her mother is a drunk, someone is beating her little brother up, and she has a creepy ex-boyfriend. Also, people percieve her to be someone she isn't because of something that happened to her. Then Everett comes in. He is nice, sweet, and everything Lacey needs. They start to fall for each other. Even after Everett finds out about Lacey's past, he still wants to be there for her. They are falling even harder for each other. Lacey then finds out about Everett's past. She gets mad at him for what he did, until she finds out it wasn't him afterall. In the end they are madly in love and accept every good and bad part of the each other.

Opinion:

I liked the book! There was very good character development. I loved the characters. There was some unnecessary drama that could have been left out, but in all the book was great. I liked how their love outweighed their dark pasts.
