Heather Conrad is supposed to just house-sit her ex-boss' new home, except when she arrives, her ex-boss tells her that she is watching her seven-year-old daughter, Izzy, as well as the house. Then one day, Heather and Izzy go to a coffee shop, and they meet a guy named Ryan. Before long, Heather, Izzy, and Ryan are good friends. But soon, things become creepy......

In a different part of the story, which takes place in 1911-1912, Maggie Parker, a maid for the Hamilton family, discovers something dreadful about her employer, but also discovers something wonderful about her feelings.

Another part of the story is about Stephannie Lansling, who is a rich girl, and who wants to change, since her father's heart problems.

Opinion:

This book was pretty good, but stressful at the same time. It has three different stories going at the same time, but they all kind of come together. It has romance and suspense in it, and I think it is Christian, because there is some Bible verses in it. Overall, it was a pretty good book.

I didn't have a lot of bad things in it, just maybe a few things that are not that appropriate
