LitPick Review
Nora Dearly is the only human on Earth who is immune to the Laz, a virus that brings the dead back to life, but that doesn't make the epidemic any less hard on her. Things are just starting to get back to normal for her and her zombie boyfriend, Bram Griswold, but things are about to take a turn for the worst. After much work, Nora's father's vaccine proves ineffective due to the arrival of new strain of the virus. Panic is spreading quickly, making people feel more anti-zombie than ever. In response, an anti-zombie organization called 'The Murder' has risen with an old enemy with eyes set on Bram's head and Nora's heart. To see if they can survive this, read Lia Habel's "Dearly, Beloved."
Opinion:
Lia Habel does a fantastic job of bringing this dystopian love story to life in a vivid manner. All of her charaters are very well developed with distinct personalities that blend together to creat a perfect storm of conflict. She brings each of her characters to life to act a dramatic, action- filled, romance in a post- apoctalyptic nightmare that keeps you holding your breath until the last page. I recommend this book to any teen girl looking for a great action- filled romance.
