From Egyptian Gods to hell, fairies to talking trees, Lily Young encounters it all.

After their first adventure, Amon and Lily must part; Amon back to his mummified state and Lily to her New York home. But something still isn't right. The Dark God has started to stir, 1000 years to early. Lily must take over the job of protector and adventurer and free Amon from his depressed state in the Netherworld (hell). Not caring for her own safety, Lily changes something deep inside her that she can never get back. With the help of Amon’s brothers and Anubis (a god) Lily accepts and learns to deal with her changes of mind and heart. Join her on a journey of never ending adventure, romance, and horror.

Opinion:

I absolutely adored this book! Similar to Fablehaven by Brandon Mull and The Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan (worlds of fantasy creatures), Colleen Houck brings to life a world of Egyptian gods. My favorite part was when Lily and her…. I'll say "very close friends" so I don’t ruin the story, come together and free her true love.

A great book for any romantic, adventurer, or fantasy lover out there! I would definitely say that Recreated is intended for high school age students, but younger and older alike would equally enjoy reading it. Although you can read Recreated by itself, I would definitely read the first book (Reawakened) as Recreated will make much more sense.
