In the book The Iron in Blood, Jenny Doe tells about a teenage girl who finds out she is a vampire and that there are other vampires out there. This fantasy/romance story is set in present day in Rebecca’s neighborhood. The story begins when Rebecca gets hit by a car and breaks her leg.

Then Angus moves into a house across the street from Rebecca. Rebecca finds out that she is a vampire. Rebecca even gets kidnapped for some guy Jack. Read The Iron in Blood by Jenny Doe to find out more.

Opinion:

I would recommend the book The Iron in Blood. I really enjoyed this book, because it was very suspenseful. It was very suspenseful at the part when Rebecca got kidnapped. Also, it relates to one of my other favorite book series, Twilight. For example, there is a bad vampire (tracker) who is trying to kidnap Rebecca. Another reason is the book is funny.

The only thing I didn’t like about the book was the amount of romance. It needed a bit more. I would recommend the
book for ages 11-15, because it had a couple of topics that younger kids would not understand. An example is getting drunk. I would rate this book 5 out of 5 stars.
