When treasure is thought to be located in a usually boring coastal town in California, thousands of treasure hunters gather. They're all determined to find the treasure, but none of them want it more than four 7th graders. Will, Mikey, Susan and Evelyn know that they can find the treasure by each using their separate skills. But the treasure is hidden well, and the kids are up against a lot of grown-ups with all kinds of fancy gadgets.

Opinion:

The book was very interesting. It's fun to solve the problems with the group of kids. Although the beginning of the book was a bit slow, by the 3rd chapter it was hard to put down! Although the book is about a group of 7th graders, I think that this book would be most enjoyed by 3rd-5th graders.

Content rating - nothing offensive

Explain your content rating:

There is very little violence in the book, and nothing like murder. There isn't any cursing, and nothing much about girlfriends and boyfriends. It's mostly a good old-fashioned adventure tale.
