A boy who has been sitting alone at lunch for 622 days straight, and who has a mental disorder, learns that his crush's dad just died in a car crash. Together, they face school bullies and the struggles of having a mental disorder in high school. When she comes to him to solve the mystery of why her father actually died, it leads to a clue that unravels the whole story. Then her world is turned upside down by a family secret that changes everything.

Opinion:

I would really give this a 3.5 out of five stars because I felt that 3 was too low and 4 was too high. The reason why I gave this book a 3.5 out of five stars was because the story was really interesting to read and it moved along at a fast pace (except when sharing the backstory). Another reason why I liked the book was because the boy had a mental disorder, and it was explained in a very easy to understand way. It was also easy to tell which character was sharing his/her perspective. This is a great book for teens looking for a touching story.
