Faith's life was not going so well the past few years. Her father dies, she has a job she hates with a passsion. And her mother could care less about her. After one night in a club she meets Trent. After meeting him strange things begin to happen. She starts to remember some things about her father she didn't before. Also she discovers the world of the supernatual. Most importantly she discovers what her role in it is and who the love of her life could be.

Opinion:

I had a hard getting into the book at the begining. The reason is because the prologue really doesn't do much for the story, at least in my opinion. However, after reading the next few chapters; I was hooked on the the book. Some things weren't explained, but overall it was a great read. I would reccomend Vampire Kisses to anyone who likes paranormal romance. I found the use of mythology to be great, and a useful way to get people to learn things without doing boring research. Great writing, and amazing location detailsmake you feel like you're actually there.

Content rating - mature content

Explain your content rating:

It had a scene with pre-marital sex that wouldn't be suitable for children under 15. Also in the story it describes some gory blood baths. The story also tells of a mother trying to murder her own daughter, so that wouldn't be the best for kids under the age 10.
