Piper and Mac are two stubborn Scottish Terriers. Piper is a black Scottish Terrier who, in her mind, is too mature to chase bikes and cars while Mac is a white terrier who loves chasing bikes and cars. These two Scottish Terriers are mostly opposites, but they do have a few things in common: they are both stubborn leaders, neither are followers, and they both think of food whenever they’re thinking about anything. Their owners leave to go to their Grandma’s farm, but the two terriers are left behind. The two terriers, not wanting to be left behind, escape the house and try to get to the farm on their own.  On their journey, they must get through dangers and challenges before they can make it to the farm. Will the two terriers make it to the farm or get lost on the way? Find out in ‘A Tale of Two Scotties.

Opinion:

This book is a wonderful story of two adventurous Scottish Terriers who embark on a journey to their Grandma’s farm. I liked the Scottish Terriers, and I think the illustrations of them were really cute and nicely detailed. I liked the terrier Mac because I thought he was funny. I also thought it was funny that they were complete opposites, and in the beginning of the book, the two terriers pulled their owner two different places at once. The book was nicely written and illustrated. The chapters were easy to understand and were not confusing. I recommend this book for all dog lovers or people who want to read an adventure novel.
