Opinion:

Pigs Have Wings includes a valuable lesson for readers of any age but especially shines on younger readers who may struggle with confidence. The picture book takes readers on a journey of self-discovery for Miz Peg who is trying to accomplish her dreams even though she has various struggles. Not only does the book hold a key lesson for children, the story also includes helpful and encouraging characters who support the main character to believe in herself. In addition to the lively characters, the rhyming language makes reading an easier journey for early-stage readers. Finally, the book also includes the most vibrant illustrations throughout the ever-moving story. The illustrations match the excitement of the plot and highlight the bright future ahead for Miz Peg.
