Jorge is laying on the roof looking at the stars when he hears a strange sound. He goes towards it and meets a chupacabra named Carter, and they become best friends over time. One night Jorge's principal, a hunter, finds out about Carter and starts hunting him. Then dozens of hunters come and terrible attacks start happening. Read on to find out what happens next!

Opinion:

If you like amazing books, you will love this one!  It's a really good example for kids on the meaning of true friendship and of why the buddy system is so important. It shows how friends can work together and help each other be successful. I enjoyed that in this book was in Spanglish. It was amazing and funny. I would read this book again because the illustrations were phenomenal and the suspense kept me turning page after page. It’s fun to read words in both English and Spanish in one book. It’s an excellent way to improve your vocabulary as well.

Explain your content rating:

There was not anything too bad. However, there are certain things like how the bullies beat up Jorge, and a few other things, such as violence done to animals.
