In this book, a boy named Jorge gets kicked out of his old school in Los Angeles, so he has to go live with his grandparents. Jorge is laying on the roof looking at the stars when he hears a strange sound. He goes towards it and meets a chupacabra named Carter, and they become best friends over time.
