LitPick Review
In this superstitious story, marvelous Margo is a fit, popular girl in her school. She has her best friends Kat, Brenda, and Chelsey. She has the perfect life until she is falsely accused by Kat of telling secret information about her dad. Kat, Brenda, and Chelsey stop talking to her and start doing extremely cruel actions toward her. All of this causes a tragic event that changes Margo’s life forever. She forms a secret group with a few other bullied teenagers who want to get revenge. They call themselves the M.O.B., meaning Mind Over Bullies. Together they prevent bullies from doing horrible actions toward others.
Opinion:
This is a very intriguing book that makes you want to to keep reading more. Being geared toward teenagers, some of the language and comments are better suited for older kids. The story really seems to express Margo's feelings and shows how she changes into a better person.
This book is an extremely enjoyable read for ages 12 and above. The bullies sometimes do some disturbing things. Otherwise, this is a great book, and I recommend it for people who love mysteries and page turners.
