As once said by Ken Glickman , "Signs are to eyes what words are to ears ."

Minds and Signs written by Rebecca Rose Orton helps you understand about how your mind really works, how it tends to categorizes things in different ways, and also shows descriptions of various ways that the mind accomplishes this task.  Take for example how you think of a chair.  The chair has four legs, two arm rests, and a back rest. Then you think of variations that take it farther away from the prototype.

Long, long ago, there lived a king called King Roland. After King Roland's daughter Iadore is mortally injured in an accident, she is healed by fairies. Now half-fairy, Iadore's life is suddenly filled with new excitement until one day when the princess goes missing without a trace.

Years later, a girl named Ilove lives a peaceful life with her mother Trailynn in a small cottage. But Ilove has always been a peculiar child, never truly fitting in with her peers. One day she meets some strange creatures in the forest, and suddenly she knows why.

“The Reluctant Queen” is packed with historical detailing and exquisite character development.  The author takes the reader on a journey from Esther's early childhood into her Queendom, outlining how events in this seemly average young Jewish girl’s life mold her into becoming the savior of the Jews of Persia.

For nearly his entire life, it’s just been Gwilym and his siblings, and he’s perfectly content with that. Recently, his stepmother joined the family, and he is content about that as well. But there’s a missing piece that he can’t refute: his mother. His mother abandoned him when he was just a baby to play in her jazz band. Although Gwilym tries not to overthink it, the underlying resentment and curiosity has been bubbling for a while now.

Gwendolyn Gray lives in The City devoid of imagination and color. Her school is designed to prepare children for adult life, and children learn by staring into marble-like machines called Lambents, which control their brains, stripping them of all individual ideas, creativity, and free-thinking.

It’s all fun and games until your own father burns your house down for insurance money, and then takes off and hides.
