Bad Luck Girl is about fourteen year old Callie LeRoux who is trying to cope with the fact that she's a fairy princess. She has the help of her best friend Jack Hollander (a human), her mother (a human), and her long lost father (a fairy prince), on her journey to end a prophecy written decades before she was even born. The prophecy says that a girl who can open gates to different worlds will have to chose a path. Callie knows that there is only one right path but she is manipulated by the ohter paths so that she may chose them. Will she, or will she not?

Opinion:

I really liked this book because it had a lot of conflict and it turns out good will always trump evil. Although I liked  this book, parts of the story were very complex, and it was difficult to stay with the story. I also would have liked to have had more of an ending because the author's note says it's the last book in the series.  The book was so good but I was so sad to see it end so suddenly!

Explain your content rating:

The book wasn't overly romantic, I mean it had Jack and Callie making goo-goo eyes at each other through the whole book but they only shared one little quick kiss so in my opinion, it's not enough to be ranked as "Mature Content."
