The way that Surti is able to express basic emotions is beautiful, and you are able to easily put yourself in the woman's shoes. Everything about this book is unlike anything I've picked up before. It's not a real story; it's more a diary of a young woman trying to find her place in the world. The dialogue, the intimacy, and the feelings that we all have (that we are sometimes unable to put into words) are all here. But the difference is the philosophical approach Surti took to explain the feelings and emotions that we all have around this age.

The one thing that made me feel indifferent to the book was the fact that these young people were attempting to understand why we all exist. It just seemed like a lot to talk about when they had all these problems right in front of themselves. But the writing style was so poetic. The way these characters pondered over basic things sounded so deep and introspective.

I would recommend this book to people who feel alone. We all go through insecurities and wanting to understand our worth, and the way this book displays it is stunning.
