When a father, mother and son go on a hiking trip to get out of the city, an unexpected winter storm hits. In midst of the this grim journey, help arrives in the form of a dog. Readers will be turning pages as fast as they can in hopes of finding a happy ending for this family and their unforgettable hero.
Opinion:
I reccomend this book for readers in grades 5-8. The story keeps the readers' interest and has them anticipating what will happen at the turn of every page. The biggest downfall of this book is the fact that it dosen't get the readers to know the characters like they should; it really leaves a lot to the imagination when you wonder about the characters.
Explain your content rating:
It's clean and appropriate for kids of all ages. The content is a little sad but still okay for children.
