FearMaker: Family Matters
FearMaker: Family Matters
Twelve-year-old Adam Castle lives in a mansion in Beverly Hills. But for him, life is just like that for any other ordinary twelve-year-old. That is, until he mistakenly overhears the unsavory truth about his father. Dear old Dad is a homicidal maniac and lovely Mom is his beautiful accomplice. To make matters worse, Adam overhears a sweet little conversation where he learns that his dad’s next victim will be one of his favorite classmates, Jennifer Isles. Jen is the first girl Adam has ever really liked, I mean got-caught-staring-at-her-more-than-once liked. And his father has plans to kidnap her and bury her alive until a ransom is paid. It seems that Jen’s pretty little head will be whacked off by his loving father, if Mr. and Mrs. Isles don’t go along with his Dad’s maniacal plan. Adam’s ordinary life just took on a demented twist as he steps into the wonderful world of the macabre. Together with his best friend, Julian, the two boys know they have but one choice. They must stop the murder from happening. As they race against time and evil forces, Julian and Adam embark on a murder mystery tour of Los Angeles that would make Edgar Allen Poe shake with terror. The final bit of proof the two sleuths need lies in the bottom of an empty grave at Forever Hollywood Cemetery. Is Adam brave enough to climb into the empty abyss of death and claim the evidence they need to stop his father forever? If he is that brave, what will happen when he descends into the desperate pit of fear? This is a tale so bizarre that it proves that truth is stranger than fiction. It could only have been written by a grown-up kid who grew up in world of horror, in a big house in Beverly Hills, with a real-life dad who made his living scaring the wits out of innocent souls.

It answers a great many mysteries and legends about Santa Claus while entertaining the reader with imaginative fantasies and real events of the world. Is it only about Christmas?Faith, Hope & Reindeer is the second in The Santa Claus Trilogy and is the only book in the three that takes place entirely during Christmas. The other novels span the entire year (or years). Then again, a little Christmas throughout the year is not a bad thing, in my opinion. What is the order of the books?Believe Again, The North Pole Chronicles is the first book in the series.Faith, Hope & Reindeer is the second in the series.Glaciers Melt and Mountains Smoke is the third in the series. Also related:The Faces of Krampus, which is the story of Black Peter, the assistant to St. Nicholas.Aeon Millennium, The Time-Traveling Elf, is set to be released in Fall, 2018.Can readers get the whole series in one bundle? You may purchase The Santa Claus Trilogy as a collection containing all three books in the box set.So, why should readers give these books a try? Faith, Hope & Reindeer has been called "enchanting", "heart-warming," "inspirational", and too many more great comments to list here. It has been referred to as a future "Hallmark Hall of Fame" movie because it evokes such warm and wonderful emotions. If you would like to experience genuine magic in your life, then you are invited to jump on board and discover a place you only dreamed of before.

I never heard him come after me and even as I climbed the slope and stumbled onto our shaded back lawn, I didn’t look back. I was either saving myself from that serial killer I always imagined lived down in the swamp, or I had finally gone over the deep end . . . Meghan Elam has been strange her entire life: her eyes have this odd habit of changing color and she sees and hears things no one else does. When the visions and voices in her head start to get worse, she is convinced that her parents will want to drag her off to another psychiatrist.
