The book I chose - Bird Without Wings, was a mysterious and exciting book about a teenage girl who finds out who she "really" is.  Scarlett is having trouble in the real world, being bullied, her father gone missing, no firends but she ends up finding a magical Fae world.  In this Fae world, it's different than the regular world, more pure and more free.  This Fae world brings her closer to finding her birth mom and father.

Year of Mistaken Discoveries by Eileen Cook is a riveting novel that absolutely grabs your attention and makes you hold onto every last word. A truly touching story about a young girl who was once adopted searches for her birth mother in her last year in high school.

Did you ever feel that you're lost and some kind of maniac is coming to kill you? In this book it happens to a 12 year old kid named Jack. He goes on a trip with his parents to Lake District. Jack felt something weird once he was there, like something strange was going to happen. On their trip, Jack and Rosie, his little cousin, get lost in the woods where there is a criminal coming after them. Jack's family also ends up in danger. Jack and Rosie must find a way out and save their parents, but how are they going to accomplish such an enormous task?

Evan Carter is always the 'new guy.' Every couple months, his father moves his family across the US and Evan is left with no friends, only a list of past hook-ups in his wake. He knows just which girls to hook up with and his most recent boarding school is no exception. One lucky day, a girl comes into his room and before he knows it, Evan is in the middle of hooking up with her. It’s not a one time thing but it does end quickly, after a few guys find out. They assault Evan and his dad pulls him from the school, taking him back to where he grew up in Minnesota.

One day, these people were in a strange place. They wanted to find their parents, but they were not in the strange place. Logan went into a computer, and they saw a blue team and a red team in war. Logan was on the red team. If Logan beat the blue team he would get farther into the computer. The farther he got, the better chances he would find his parents. Logan and his gang went exploring in the woods. They saw something strange. Logan went back into the computer. He saw a door that said, "Breeze," but he had no idea what it meant. They had no idea what was going on.

What would happen if you suddenly found yourself in your favorite game?  It sounds great, but if the game is The Game of Pirate, it can also be very dangerous.  Fourteen year old Jack learned the game from an actual pirate - Captain Jones.

Every Day After is a very good book about a girl named Lizzie. Her dad left when she was 9 or 10 years old.  Not long after he left, her mom got sick and stopped talking. Lizzie did not want anyone to know about her mom because she feared if they found out she would be taken to an orphanage, so she hid her Mom. Lizzie then runs into struggle after struggle including Erin a bully, a letter from the bank that says money is needed or the house will be lost, and losing a best friend.  Lizzie found a job at Mr. and Mrs. Hinkle’s store and things started looking up.

Warrior Woman is an amazing story about a young girl who is from two different worlds.  Nancy is half Cherokee and half English. Her mother's mother was considered a very wise woman in the Wolf Clan of the Cherokee Nation. Nancy's father was a soldier who had worked on the reservation.

In this story, the main character, Julian, becomes friends with Martin and Lily, then finds out that his grandfather has been kidnapped. To rescue his grandfather, Julian and his new friends must travel to a different world called Delphisola, a world where time does not move.
