Warrior Woman is an amazing story about a young girl who is from two different worlds.  Nancy is half Cherokee and half English. Her mother's mother was considered a very wise woman in the Wolf Clan of the Cherokee Nation. Nancy's father was a soldier who had worked on the reservation. Nancy father came back to the reservation with his troops, and when his enlistment was over he gave up his English ways and became a part of the Wolf Clan. Throughout her life Nancy faced many challenges because of her heritage. Many times she found herself biased to one side of her heritage.

Opinion:

Warrior Woman was a great and very understandable book for the preteen to teen category. It was a great historical fiction book. There were lots of details that made it easy to understand. I love this book; it was very interesting and it made my look forward to reading.
