You Are Love is a self-help book that encourages readers to look within themselves and to find happiness. This book is written by Sara Spowart and calls upon her personal experiences in order to educate readers on their interconnectedness with everything and everyone around them. The book focuses on pain, suffering, and love, and begins with the author explaining the need to shift your perspective. She talks about the near-death experiences she has had and how she has learned to shift her perspective about these. Next, she moves to talking about pain, discussing her childhood and her constant need to try and ease pain around her when she was younger. Lastly, the book discusses the beauty of human life and the steps you can take as a reader to achieve happiness and feel good. This book also comes with reflections for the readers, aspiration examples, and a guided energy shift exercise.

Opinion:

Overall, this book was a great read. When I first started the book, I was immediately impressed by the author's writing style. It felt like she was having a conversation with me rather than me just reading a book. In addition, I really liked how the author used a lot of her own experiences in the book. This made a lot of what she was saying more understandable and allowed me to relate things to my own life. I think there was also a lot of very strong advice in this book. Reading the first chapter helped me understand how shifting my perspective about a lot of things in my life could help me come to terms with them more. The layout of the book was also very helpful as there were specific places to be able to stop and reflect. Overall, I think this book is good for anyone who is interested in bringing more happiness into their lives, or even just wants to learn more about themselves and the world.
