Diana (Wonder Woman) lives on the island of Thymascira, where she has never left, until a plane crashes and she saves the only survivor. Her name is Alia and she is a Warbringer. Warbringers have a curse that is passed down through the bloodline of the warrior Hera. The Warbringers seem to wreak havoc wherever they go, but Alia does not know that she is a Warbringer. To change Alia's fate, Diana and Alia go into the mortal world, trying to change the fate that the Warbringer has created for them.

Opinion:

I really loved this book! It was very different from anything that I have read before, and the author did a good job making you feel like you were actually there. Also, Diana's point of view was written nicely because it stuck to the part of Diana that we saw in the Wonder Woman movie and branched out from that. The plot of this book was unique in that it went beyond Greek Mythology. The Greek Mythology history was very easy to comprehend and was interesting to read about.

This book mentions a lot about women's rights and freedom of race and love. I think this really added to the book and allowed for diverse characters. It also talked about how even though Diana is immortal, she favors life as much as mortals and this suggests that you should make the most out of your life. I think this book would be a good choice for anyone who likes superheroes, action, adventure, and Greek Mythology.
