The book I read was Sliding Beneath the Surface. Jeff and Arla are the main characters who live in St. Augustine when some paranormal things start happening around Jeff. He keeps having night mares about things that scare him so much that he hasn't slept for three days straight. Carla takes him to her mysterious friend Lobo and Heff finds out some things that are even  weirder. Ghosts are real and Jeff can do some out of this world things. The bad the thing is that this might add up to Jeff's death. Lobo and Carla help Jeff do some unimaginable things to try to keep him alive from who, or what, might end up killing him. Can they?surpriseblush

Opinion:

I really liked this book. The suspense, mystery, adventure, and even some history all add up to make an awesome book. It kept me reading until the end. A few times I got a little confused though because what they were talking about wasn't in the book. Overall this was a good book.

Content rating - some mature content

Explain your content rating:

The maturity level was OK. It had swear words here and there but not too many. There also was a lot of talk of getting shot and stabbed, so of course there was a lot of blood and graphic details. Some descriptions went a little too far but otherwise it was an amazing book.
