The book Played was very exciting. It shows that even smart people have troubled homes and can fall in love. In the book Riley is determined to break up her brother’s relationship with his girlfriend because Sam likes her brother’s girlfriend. Riley is doing this to pay back Sam for saving her when she fell in between two mountains. Riley ends up failing in classes and becoming a big distraction for others. She turns into a good girl gone bad when she starts hanging out with the wrong crowd. But when she finally opens her eyes she notices how much one person sacrificed for her and that’s Sam.

Opinion:

When I first started Played I was a little bored, but then it changed. I liked how Sam thought about Riley and her family. I felt like I was involved in the book because the events that happened captured my attention and kept it.  The book was very interesting, and I think it should have a sequel to it.
