I ran to the mountains. There, I met a singing goat who gave me bread and water. What would you do with this gift from an unlikely source? See how to make the most of what you are given in this cute short story for early readers.

Opinion:

The Mountain and the Goat was a fun book, as the pictures changed with every sentence. This was an easy read. My little sisters, who are 4 and 9, both read and enjoyed it. I liked the way it illustrated cause and effect. When you are given something, you need to then go and make the most of it. It's a great lesson for young kids to learn, and best of all, this book was written without going over their heads!
