In the book The Iron in Blood, Jenny Doe tells about Rebecca, a teenage girl who finds out that she is a vampire and that there are other vampires out there, for example Angus. This book takes place in present day in Rebecca’s neighborhood, and the genre is fantasy with a little bit of romance. In the beginning, Rebecca breaks her leg by a car. Next, Angus moves next door to Rebecca. Then, Rebecca finds out she’s a vampire. After that, Rebecca gets kidnapped. Read The Iron in Blood by Jenny Doe to find out what happens next.

Opinion:

I highly recommend the book The Iron in Blood  by Jenny Doe because it has suspense. I know this because the text states, “The men worked fast, cuffing my hands behind my back and wrapping cable ties around my ankles.”

It is also a vampire love story, although at some parts it is confusing.  I suggest this book for kids over 11. In my opinion I give this book a 5 out of 5 star rating.
