Rory is thrilled to finally be a senior in high school. She’s the captain of the girls' soccer team and is coaching a middle school team. She and her friends are looking forward to all the benefits coming with senior year including the winter and spring dances. But on the first day of school, her world is tipped upside down when Cole Fielding walks through the school doors. A “bad boy,” Cole has a tough, rough around the edges look, not to mention his “I don’t care” attitude. Rory is immediately attracted to him, but she tries to push it down because she knows that he doesn’t fit into her plan for senior year. Much to her surprise, they are partnered in English, she’s coaching his little brother’s team, and they live near one another. As she gets to know Cole, she realizes that there is a lot hiding behind his “bad boy” facade. Can Rory break through Cole’s walls and find her way to his heart?

Opinion:

No More Maybes is quite the heartthrob! It draws you in from the beginning, and there is plenty of suspense to keep you there until the end. Elizabeth Stevens has created incredible, dynamic characters. Rory and Cole are very relatable, and many of the high school dynamics have been captured well. Little details like Rory’s love for anything blue make the story come to life. No More Maybes is a wonderful read for any high school student looking for a good love story.
