Ollie's Odyssey is a very sweet and somewhat “magical” story about everlasting friendship and bravery. Ollie is a toy, but not just any toy. The main character, Billy, thinks of Ollie as his “favorite,” which is the highest honor in the secret toy realm. Not everything in the world of toys is always so jolly, though. There are also mean toys, like Zozo, the clown king and his creeps. When Ollie is toy-napped by Zozo's evil right-hand men, Billy sets out on a journey to hopefully bring his pal back home.

Ollie's Odyssey has many twist and turns as well as setbacks. It is a story of bravery and trust against all odds. Both Billy and Ollie find themselves trapped in a dark carnival where they fight for freedom and struggle not to lose sight of what matters most. It's an adventure that's worth the effort.

Opinion:

Ollie's Odyssey is not the sort of book I would usually read. It is the first book I've ever read that had more to do with toys than people. From the first chapter I just couldn't put it down. I highly recommend this book for anyone who's looking for something a little different. This book really captured my attention and I enjoyed reading it, a lot. It's definitely a page turner. I never got bored or lost interest in the storyline. The author did a great job making the toys seem real to life. I think the story accomplished everything it meant to do, and I loved it.
