This book is a fantasy novel. Gemma Hart has a secret that no one outside of her family can ever know. Gemma and the rest of her family are all time travelers. Gemma’s stunning good looks make all the boys love her and the girls envious of her, but to make keeping this big secret easier, she isolates herself from everyone at her school and quickly becomes a social outcast. It has always been easy for Gemma to push people away, but that all changes when she meets Harrison Granger. Harrison is the one boy who seems unaffected by her curt remarks that normally send boys fleeing, and no matter how hard she tries, she cannot get rid of this pulling feeling she has towards him. Being with Harrison would not only mean she would have to lie to him about who she really is, but it would also break her parents' no boys rule. Gemma is faced with a choice to lose her family’s trust or lose the boy she loves.

Opinion:

This was an average book. It had an interesting concept and was well writen. The author did a good job leading the book on to a series, but I think the author could do more to develop the two characters' affections for each other. I would not call this book a page turner, but it is not a boring book.
