Ollie's Odyssey is a very sweet and somewhat “magical” story about everlasting friendship and bravery. Ollie is a toy, but not just any toy. The main character, Billy, thinks of Ollie as his “favorite,” which is the highest honor in the secret toy realm. Not everything in the world of toys is always so jolly, though. There are also mean toys, like Zozo, the clown king and his creeps. When Ollie is toy-napped by Zozo's evil right-hand men, Billy sets out on a journey to hopefully bring his pal back home.

This story starts with a child named Tom, who was in a car accident and lost his leg. After the accident, he was secluded from the world. In an attempt to help Tom become himself again, his mother sends him to a summer camp, so he can be social again. Things go wrong and Tom tries to run from the camp, but in a twist, gets sent to a different world with his two friends and the camp dog. They realize that things are not as they seem at first and find out they might be part of a bigger picture.

The Crowns of Croswald is an exciting book about Ivy Lovely, a girl who has yet to discover her magic and history. Ivy has grown up taking care of the castle scaldrons, one of the lowliest jobs at The Castle Plum. Ivy has only day dreamed about magic, she has no idea she actually has magical ability until her dwarf friend, Rimbrick tells her. Even then, the events that follow leave her astounded.

Margie, the main character in the book Margie Makes A Difference by Dawn Brotherton, loves playing softball with her friends on the Lady Tigers softball team. The players are so close that the team is like a big family; and when they are together, the Lady Tigers are almost unbeatable.
