This is a fun easy read for fans of DC Comics.  As you can guess, Wonder Woman is the main character.  She is leaving her home for the first time and heading to Super Hero high to receive her training to become a super hero.

Wonder Woman finds out that becoming a hero is not as easy as she thought.  She is faced with many challenges both with her lessons and with her fellow super hero classmates. Normal teenage problems like dealing with peer and parental pressure.

Lisa Yee does a wonderful job of making these super heroes seem not so different than regular teenagers!

The ending will make you anxiously await the continuation of this story (hopefully in a future book)!

Opinion:

I am a fan of DC comics, and I enjoyed the references to many DC characters.  There were many that made an appearance in this book!  This made the story very exciting for me.

I loved that Wonder Woman seemed to have a lot of the same issues in school that I do.  At school she has to deal with mean girls, peer pressure, odd teachers, parental pressure, and social media.

Though there is nothing inappropriate in this book, some of the topics (since many of the challenges that Wonder Woman meets have to do with intermediate schools) may only relate to readers age 12 or older.
