Have you ever felt like someone's out to ruin your life? If you have, then you know exactly how Lane Cisco is feeling when her weird cousin comes to visit.

Lane is just starting to love her life, at home and school. But when her cousin Mint comes to stay for a long visit, she snags the boys that Lane and her friends Ava, Rachael, and Lucia like. To make matters worse, she becomes as popular as Lane in a mere month!

Lane and her friends make a plan to show everyone how weird her cousin is, but half way through, Lane has a double take. Mint actually seems kind of...nice. What should Lane do? Go with her friends and hurt Mint, or vice-versa?

Opinion:

Too Cool For This School is a book that kids all over the world will enjoy. The story line is one that many will relate to. Its moral is sweet, and it's a great read. The book hooked me  immediately, and I feel like I've know the characters forever. I'd recommend it to kids of ages of about 10 to 12.
