The Sword of Vanu is an excellent and well written adventure/fantasy novel by Christine Norris. The story takes place in 21st century London. Meghan, the guardian of the Library of Athena, was on vacation when her burglar alarm went off. Right then, her friends pay her a visit and they check on the library together. It turns out that a story from a book has been turned into real life! Meghan and her friends have to get the artifact from inside the story, and then put the artifact into the library vault. But can they do it in time?

Opinion:

I thought that this book was an excellent read and very intriguing. The book was so action-packed that I couldn’t put it down! I would recommend this book to anyone who loves fantasy or adventure novels.

Explain your content rating:

The one thing I comment about this book is that the characters say some words that could be taken as swearing, so I recommend an 10-12 age group. Overall, I think it was a great novel, and I will definitely read it again.
