Meet Starvin' Marvin, a small and friendly ghost with a problem. It seems that no matter what he eats nothing will stay in his grumbling tummy! He's on a search to find food that stays inside. What will he find that could possibly work?

Opinion:

This was a cute and funny book. My five-year-old sister and I read it together and were both giggling when we saw food falling out of him. The illustrations were simple but worked well with the short and entertaining storyline. Starvin Marvin is a light-hearted book which tells the story through pictures. This book could become a favorite as a small child would be able to feel like they are reading the book since they understand easily what's going on through pictures. This book would also be great for reluctant readers for that same purpose because it is easy to follow!  I would recommend this book to three-to-five-year-olds or any older kid who wants to read a short book to his or her siblings!
