Shy Spy is watching over Cindy from heaven, trying to guide her on her walk of faith. Cindy questions everything, especially the dreams Satan sends her. She is trying to find out what she believes in when some strange things happen to her...even when she does not realize it. Meanwhile, Shy Spy is making a biography of Cindy’s life and attempting to keep her on the straight and narrow path. Will Cindy find out why these weird things keep happening? Will Shy Spy be able to keep Cindy out of Satan’s clutches?

Opinion:

This story is short, so it is a quick read. The concept and the plot are very interesting, and I enjoyed learning about Cindy as she progresses through self-discovery. However, I find that the story lacks details that would have made it a more immersive experience. There is some fairly good imagery, but the narrative stagnates when the events do not flow together to make readers feel as if they are in the story.

Cindy is a likeable character, but I feel she could have been better developed. The reader does not know much about her, and it seems through the book that she does not do much else besides trying to figure out what is going on with the strange happenings. I found myself enjoying Shy Spy’s thoughts more so than learning about what goes on in Cindy's mind. Overall, though, the story has an intriguing and unique take on spiritual attacks and battles.
