The book Sky Raiders is mainly about a group of kids who get warped into a magical land. It all begins when Cole Randolph and his friends embark their annual Halloween adventure. The friends walked to a haunted house attraction and they were so excited but yet frightened. At the haunted house there were these suspicious looking characters lurking in the shadows giving the kids sly looks. A tall, bearded man came up to them and asked them if they wanted to be scared. The kids agreed, and as they walked to the destination someone locked them up. The group of children get transported to a magical land and get separated from each other. Cole is a bandit while his friends are servants to an evil king. And it is up to Cole to save them. This story is full of action, suspense, and mystery.

Opinion:

In my opinion, this book is very heart warming and exciting. I loved the part when Cole became determined to save his friends from the evil clutches of the king. This story is full of suspense and a small bit of gore, but other than that the story is perfect. In the story, Cole has become a bandit and must raid villagers of their most prized possessions. I like the fact that he is accepting this job so he can manage to save his friends. This proves how much he cares. Cole goes through pain just to make sure his friends are safe. That’s what I call true friendship. This book is very motivating, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a book to read. I hope everyone gets a chance to embrace the wonders of this great book.
