Rory tries her best not to like the new kid in town, Cole Fielding. She already has so much going on being the captain of the soccer team, coaching the middle schoolers, and enjoying her senior year with her friends. Cole is everything that Rory wants to stay away from as he smokes and gets into fights and trouble all the time. Rory does not need a "bad boy" in her life. But despite how much she tries to stay away from Cole, the universe seems to be pushing them together; she's coaching his little brother, their siblings are friends, and they even get paired together for their English project. Rory can't help but wonder what would happen if she let her heart make the decisions for once. Cole is not a rational choice, and he seems to be hiding secrets of his own. But this may be Rory's only chance to let Cole in, and she knows that she'll always regret it if she doesn't give him a chance.

Opinion:

Overall, I really enjoyed reading this book. The author did a great job of capturing the romance between Rory and Cole, and this book felt like a sweet and light read. There was enough suspense between Rory and Cole's relationship throughout the book to keep me interested, but the author was able to keep the light-hearted and happy mood throughout the book. I think the author also did a great job with the pacing of the book as I often find romance novels to feel slow, but I did not feel that way when reading No More Maybes. Another thing I liked was how relatable Rory was as a high schooler.  She leads a pretty normal life but has one thing she excels at (soccer) and loves to hang out with her friends. This book is perfect for any reader looking for a sweet romance novel with a bit of suspense and edge.
