LitPick Review
Planet Kerenza is under attack from the enemy BiTech! Most of the people are dead, but a good amount have lived. Take Kady Grant and Ezra Mason for example. Kady Grant ends her relationship with Ezra Mason just 3 hours before the attack in hopes that she never sees him again. When everything goes down 3 hours later, she ends up including Ezra in her escape plan. Eventually they end up on an Alexander Fleet ship, which is taking them to safety. While aboard the ship, they are interviewed by some of the staff at the same time but in separate rooms. As the story progresses, the ship's artificial intelligence is affected by the plague, with the possibility of spreading to the passengers. Will they be able to stop it?
Opinion:
This futuristic science fiction book will give you the laugh of a lifetime as you read through The Illuminae Files. Kady and Ezra's interviews were pretty amusing due to the way they responded to the questions being asked. This book is unique. The layout is like an actual interview was in progress and the information (data, names, times and places, etc.) is laid out as if you were reading someone's portfolio. I enjoyed the layout of the book because it differs from other books, which contain text and sometimes pictures. This is a great book and a really fun way to fill an empty evening.
