Gabinius teaches Guiamo hunting, letters, numbers, etc. Gabinius learns of a prophecy that connects with Guiamo and finds out that Guiamo is the son of Mars. He acquires Mars' original spear, Lúin. Guiamo travels to the land of the Bellovaci and meets his grandfather, Camulvellaunus, who is a Druides. Guiamo soon becomes a Druides too and practices with help of Gabinius's slave's wife, Susama.
