Julia Jones has just landed an internship with the brilliant yet strange Dr. Caleb Bertel and believes that her life is finally changing for the better.  That is, until Dr. Bertel disappears and someone attacks her on her way home.  The young police officer, Austin Moore, who is assigned to the case believes that the events are related to Dr. Bertel’s research and wants Julia’s help in solving the mystery.  Julia agrees to help him and together they find the truth about more than just Dr. Bertel’s disappearance.

Opinion:

I thought this book was well written.  There were several mysteries throughout the book that kept you reading until the very end.  The characters were relatable and well developed.  I would recommend this book to anyone who likes romance novels with a little adventure thrown in.
