Daniel Locke and the Tower of Eden by Marty Longson is a story about a young boy named Indy and his adventures to save his dad's castle. The story takes place on a castle's grounds in southern California. Indy's mom has cancer and she can't walk, but after a discovery by his dad, Daniel Locke, that magically changes. There is an aurora surrounding the grounds, and when one leaves it, it is possible that they might turn into a crystal statue. Daniel Locke's most trusted bodyguard and consultants turn against the family and try to steal everything from the castle. Indy and his friends do everything they can to stop them, but Indy gets knocked out in the process and doesn't wake up for two weeks. When he wakes up, he finds out he has to find his way through a tower to defeat a beast who could possibly destroy the world.

Opinion:

I personally enjoyed this book. Its fast-paced action and adventure is appealing to young readers. The plot had incredible twists and turns. I would recommend this book to young adults.
