LitPick Review
The Cape is a book about Normals and Super-Normals (humans and superheroes). As I've found in all 'superhero' plot lines, the superheroes are fighting villains, both normal and super-normal. In this book, Normals are living peacefully with the Super-Normals, when all of a sudden, one of the good guys kills a Normal. The book follows the path of Sebastian Teleford (Sebas), a man who uses technology to attempt to save the city. Will Sebas be able to save the city from the clash of the Super-Normals? Find out in this book!
Opinion:
Braxton A. Cosby wrote a great book! Even though The Cape was a book three, it didn't seem like it. I was able to understand just about everything going on in this book. The characters were well thought out, and there were a lot of descriptive words used.
I liked Sebas because he was a Normal who was just as capable as the Super-Normals, even though he only had a super suit, whereas the Super-Normals were enhanced.
Filled with action, adventure, and plot twists, with humor sprinkled in, I didn't want to put this book down. I would recommend this book for ages 12 and up because there was some death.
