Travels with Zozo: on the Reef is the third book in Zozo’s travel series. On this adventure, Zozo and her family travel far to Australia to explore the Great Barrier Reef! When Zozo and her family set out on the transparent-bottom boat, she begins to feel affected by sea sickness. Her mom advises her to rest, so Zozo is slowly lulled to sleep by the cool water splashing and rocking the boat. Suddenly, she is swimming underwater! Zozo sees the Great Barrier Reef up close, and she meets some friends like Bonzer, the ray, along the way. Then Zozo wakes up! Was she dreaming or was her underwater adventure real?
Opinion:
The third book of Zozo’s travel series is the most exciting and interesting book so far! Any ocean-lovers will thoroughly enjoy Travels with Zozo: on the Reef because it is colorful, exciting, and a mystery! The author takes an unfortunate situation in which Zozo feels seasick and transforms it to an exciting underwater adventure! Not only does this book take readers to new depths with information about the Great Barrier Reef and ocean creatures, but this book also shows readers that an unfortunate situation can still be fun, exciting, and educational.
