LitPick Review
The Secret Cellar is about four girls who try to solve the mystery of the Third Wise Man. It all starts with Sophia buying a pen for her dad at an auction. As she is cleaning the pen, she finds a note. When Sophia and her friends try to figure out the meaning of the note they end up at Dedmann’s home, who was the previous owner. It's a place full of secrets and mysteries. With new owners coming, the blazers don’t have much time to get things straight. Marcus Klinger, a greedy shopkeeper, is one of the new owners, somebody hidden in secrets. Klinger races the girls to find Dedmann’s secret. With secrets in front of their eyes, the Red Blazer Girls Battle their way through another mystery.
Opinion:
I liked this book a lot. I really enjoyed Sophie's character. She was really funny. There was not as much action in this book as in Nancy Drew or Hardy Boys mysteries, but it was still good. I recommend reading the first three Blazer girls books before this one because it would give you a better sense of the characters' histories.
