Overall, I really enjoyed reading this book.  The beginning of the story was very interesting and immediately pulled me into the world of the climate club and all their individual motives and worries, such as Jarret fearing nature but wanting to stay in the climate club. This can help teach readers about how to better understand aspects of nature that they may be initially scared of such as wild animals or bugs. I also really enjoyed the imagery the author used to describe nature, such as the forest behind Lina’s house, especially since it was such a big part of the book. I think the author did a great job of portraying the beauty in nature through very descriptive vocabulary. After finishing the first few chapters, I was able to reach the point where I was able to make my first choice as the reader. I found it interesting how you as the reader were able to become immersed in the story and make your own choices that impacted the ending of the book. I also like how when you finish the book you can go back and see the alternate endings or make a different choice and just explore where it leads you. I enjoyed this aspect of the book, and I think it really helped capture my attention and made me feel as if I was inside the story. I also liked the pace of the story as there weren’t any parts where I felt bored. Overall, I highly recommend this book to readers who are looking for an exciting choose-your-own adventure book.
