Her mom insists that she abort the baby, but Vivica will do everything she can to save her baby. Her new boyfriend is a strong Christian and tries to help Vivica become a Christian and do the right thing. Will Vivica abort the baby? Will Vivica's mom become president? Read this exciting book to find out what happens.

Opinion:

The First Principle was a super good book. I had a hard time putting it down. I wanted to keep reading to see what would happen next. I could read it ten more times. I told my friends about it and now they are interested. It's definitely a book others should read. I am twelve years old, and it was easy to read and understand. Middle school students would enjoy this book; for kids younger than twelve, it would be hard to understand. It has some mature content because it talks about birth and abortion, but that is another reason why I picked middle schoolers as readers because these are important subjects. Marissa Shrock did a very good job writing The First Principle. I will definitely be looking forward to the next book she writes.
