Tunnel of Time is about three sisters named Reba Dee, Gracie, and Lizzie. They go on a ride called “The Tunnel of Time,” even though they hear that it isn't ready. The ride goes as it is planned for the first while. Soon the train starts going too fast, and their car gets unhooked from the rest of the train. They get out and walk to the nearest exit sign, but instead of going back to the fair grounds, they are transported back in time to when Elias Howe and Isaac Newton were alive. They don't know how to get back until Lizzie goes to a crossroads and Gracie sees that Lizzie's hair turned pink. When they go to the crossroads together and hold hands, they are brought back into the Tunnel of Time. They walk to the next exit and it happens again - to yet another time period. They begin to feel as if the tunnel will never end. Will they ever get out of the tunnel? What will happen to them? Read the book to find out!

Opinion:

Tunnel of Time was a very good book. I liked how it had an adventurous spirit in it, as well as an accurate view of siblings arguing (but they always made up or admitted they were wrong). That made the characters easier to relate to; they seemed realistic. I would recommend this book to any kid who is 8 or older. It's a nice book for younger kids to read because it teaches a little history mixed with fun. Also, there was no violence or bad language in it. Overall, this was a great book that I will read many times over again!
