Cold Comfort is a historical fiction book that is set in the past during the Civil War. The book begins with John Tyler being sick. Then it switches over to meet another important person, Boomer, and their problem fighting the Yankees. Will John Tyler be well enough to rejoin the fight? Read Cold Comfort to discover what will happen next.

Opinion:

I don't recommend the book Cold Comfort. It feels as though there would have to be a book before it in order for it to make sense. The book never really caught my attention. Some parts were interesting and others weren't. There were some funny parts but not enough. I would recommend this book to ages 12 and up because of some mature content.
