In the book Grey, Christi J. Whitney tells about how a boy and a small gypsy clan run a tattoo parlor, and also about how Sebastian, the boy, learns about the gypsy clan. This realistic fiction story is set in the present day when quiet Sebastian starts school. He tries out for a school play and meets a girl that tells him more about the gypsies.  He gets a dandelion tattoo, which is the symbol for their gypsy clan.  After that Sebastian falls off a Ferris wheel while trying to reach for his friend's dandelion pendant. Read the book to find out if Sebastian is a gypsy or not.

Opinion:

I recommend this book to people ages 14 and up. People have to be able to keep reading till about the middle of the book to really get into it because it’s very slow at the beginning. I gave this book 4 stars because I liked the realistic characters. I also liked the book because it’s very entertaining, and it has lots of action in it. I didn’t like this book because it was very slow in the beginning. Even though I didn’t like the slow beginning this was still a very good book.
